The Storage Administrator is responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining the storage infrastructure within an organization's IT environment. This includes ensuring the optimal performance, availability, and security of the storage systems, including SAN (Storage Area Network), NAS (Network Attached Storage), and cloud storage solutions. The Storage Administrator will also play a key role in data backup, disaster recovery planning, and the efficient management of storage resources to meet business needs.

1. Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise storage platforms (SAN, NAS, Object Storage)
2. Design scalable, highly available, and secure storage solutions for business-critical workloads
3. Perform storage capacity planning, performance tuning, and lifecycle management
4. Lead storage migrations, technology refreshes, and data center consolidation projects
5. Implement and maintain data protection strategies (backup, replication, disaster recovery)
6. Troubleshoot complex storage, performance, and availability issues across environments
7. Automate storage provisioning and operations using scripting and infrastructure-as-code
8. Collaborate with infrastructure, virtualization, database, cloud, and application teams
9. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements
10. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
11. Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices
